Hello, I am Dima, a Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist. I graduated with distinction from Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology & Psychopathology. I also underwent a series of supervised clinical trainings in hospitals and care centers in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I have always been interested in Mental Health and have worked, upon graduating from the Institute for Development, Research, and Applied Care (IDRAAC) to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in Lebanon and the region. Moreover, I worked in school settings at the American and French International schools in Jeddah as a learning support coordinator and school psychologist, providing personalized educational intervention plans for children, adolescents, and young adults facing development and learning difficulties. Follow-ups include complete family guidance sessions to attain every child's full potential. Additionally, I have provided training sessions and workshops for professionals, parents, and students in schools and centers. I have lately undergone a training program about Mindfulness Behavioral Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) which taught me how to train the brain to stay positive and reduce stress, especially in depression and anxiety disorders. My approach is personalized, interactive, and dynamic, as I like to focus very much on present moments, and I work with individuals, couples, and families depending on the need, culture and goals to achieve.
